First off, this is a not a paid add. Just some comments on my site hosting choice.

Incase you haven't noticed the little link at the bottom of my website that says Powered by Squarespace, well, it's there. Yes, there are likely a number of free ways to create a blog or website, but I had heard frequent advertisements about Squarespace from most of the podcasts that Iisten to. I am happy with my decision to use Squarespace because it has been very easy to get a nice looking website (at least I hope it does), I got a free web domain with my annual purchase, and I got a discount by using an offer-code from my podcasts. (current codes include "invisible" from 99% Invisible podcast, and "windows" from Windows Weekly).

The true point of this post is mainly to test the new beta version of Squarespace's Blog app for Android. I am writing this on my small samsung Tab with a bluetooth wireless keyboard, which is how intend to maintain this blog while traveling. Guess I'll see how it works here shortly.

One thing I have noticed is that I don't seem to be able to create excerpts (short intro for the full post on the main blog page). Until I figure this out, just click on the post Title to get to the page to allow comments.

Update: So it appears the app does not have the ability to create excerpts yet, perhaps in the future. It appears, however, that I am able to access the full configuration utility through the web on my tablet, but not my phone. I may not take the time to do this for posts while traveling.
